This is a small sample of Nick Bennett's work for corporate and educational clients over the past five years. Much of Nick's work is destined for installation within corporate clients' internal networks, and isn't accessible via the internet; where possible, however, actual models, tutorials, and "live" web sites will be included in this portfolio.
- Simulation models
- In 2001, Nick Bennett brought his background in the development of simulation models to Grass Roots Consulting. Since then, GRC has not only developed simulation models for corporate clients, but also for science education programs. The models here represent a sample of the discrete-event, continuous process, and agent-based models Nick has developed in the past few years.
- Tutorials
- Professional training began as the core service provided by Grass Roots in 1995. Over the years, GRC expanded these services to include the design and development of online training systems and content. Since 2002, Nick has also worked with a number of secondary education programs in New Mexico to develop and deliver training content for middle-school and high-school students.
- Web sites & components
- Advanced web sites, with dynamic or multimedia content, and often serving as public or internal corporate user interfaces to multi-tier applications, have been a key part of Grass Root's work from the beginning. Nick's recent contributions to clients' web sites range from Flash animations, to custom extensions that add critical functionality to existing sites, to complete intranet or internet presences.
